12-9 Cape Charles Lighthouse Oceanside




otter and I decided about noon to run out and see what was happening....Got underway right around 1PM and ran out off the Ramada where Don and Dave were catchng some fishies this morning.....about 10 minutes after we get lines in this big gigantic Rampage comes bearing down on us...I thought he was gonna RAM us...lol...It was Grady man in Water Dog coming by to say hi and tell us where the bite was...Big Huge Gigantic Thanks to Kent and Crew for the intel, it paid off big time...Mosey'd on up to Cape Charles in about 25 feet of water and the Gannets were going off man....put out a spread and BAM....40 Inch Rock in the boat....OK..must be fish here....Put out again...BAM 41 Incher in the boat......Cool..we've been fishing for like 30 minutes.....OUt again....bam bam bam...all blue fish..nice ones too....Then the doldrums hit...we went 15 minutes without a hit...and then BAM...36 incher in the boat....OK..one more and we can head home.....BAM 34 incher in the boat on the Daisey chain...while taking this one off the hook something hammers the spoon way back...I said Throw that fish back..the one on the way back is bigger....nice 38 incher in the boat...Limit..lines out at 3PM and mosey on home...

11-11 Norfolk Canyon




Well..we didn't kill em like last weekend, although there was an awesome bite at the 200 line and south....We went 3 for 4 on the Tuna....lost a couple of small Mahi ( they were lost or something)....Water at the Canyon was 65.3 Degrees...tons of Bait but all bites today were singels for everybody in the Canyon..there were 3 or 4 other boats out there, everybody else was SOUTH....This was VaBch117's First tuna and another guy who rode with us today named Wayne....his first Tuna....It was a very good time...I'll post some Pics shortly......For Billable....There's a special shot of Otter's Disco Boots I took just for you today
